Detail of Facilitation and Change Management Consulting

Transition Management: 

  • Developed a transition management tool, process and methodology for the Project Support Office at Metropolitan Life (2001). Thereafter was involved as a transition support resource in various business critical projects and programmes throughout the organization (2002 – 2013)
  • In 2005 was involved as a change management consultant in a project for Woolworths Clothing and Home dealing with streamlining and optimizing processes for the imports process. This also involved developing training material and training an extensive ‘super user’ group across the business
  • At the end of 2013 was appointed as a Senior OD Consultant for Metropolitan Life (MMI Holdings) which meant involvement in formulating and implementing change management and OD interventions to support the following:
  • Merger between Momentum and Metropolitan
  • The rationalization and organizational restructure led by Alexander Proudfoot Consultants
  • Transition journey towards being ‘client-centric’
  • Building individual and leadership resilience

Facilitation:

Worked for Business Presentation Group for a period of 4 years as a facilitator and trainer. Responsible for facilitation of:

  • Strategic and Business Planning workshops
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Customer Focus Groups
  • Internal Alignment workshops
  • Project Concept workshops
  • Brainstorming workshops/Think tanks
  • Leadership conferences
  • Team building

Between 2001 and 2013 worked as an independent consultant for a number of blue chip organizations (Metropolitan Life being a key client) and was involved in various different initiatives and projects; for example:

  • Shell Leadership conference for SOPAF
  • Pfizer CRM country wide initiative
  • PAWC Tourism – Security and Safety
  • CSC – Establishment of an IT charter for the BMITF
  • Foschini – strategy facilitation for various business units
  • Woolworths – strategy and change management workshops within various business units
  • Facilitation for various church groups including a vision, mission and key focus areas for the Anglican Diocese
  • Metropolitan Life (MMI) – strategy facilitation at Board level and for all business units

Since 2015, has been Owner/Manager of InSync Consulting; and more recent projects and assignments have included the following:

  • Facilitation of various strategy sessions including a scenario planning session for the Association of Actuaries of South Africa
  • An Appreciative Inquiry initiative for SCAT (an NPO), which included interviews, training, a broad-based stakeholder summit and strategic planning and feedback to the Board
  • Research and the design of a master class for a public program on Employer Branding; how to attract, recruit, engage and retain the best talent
  • Ongoing coaching relationships with a range of professional individuals
  • Design and facilitation of a personal branding module within the leadership development program of Prodigy
  • Crucial Conversations program for the Manco of Grapevine
